Origin: This Magnificent black stallion offers a unique combination of three highly sought after European bloodlines, Sandro Hit, Corduer, and Argentinus. Sandro Hit (who really needs no introduction) first received International acclaim when he won the Young Horse World Championships in 1999. Since, Sandro Hit’s offspring have taken center stage winning World Championship Titles themselves and setting record prices at auctions across Europe. Including his daughter Poetin Who after winning the Young Horse World Championships herself brought 2.5 million Euros at the PSI auction in Ankem, Germany.

Performance Record: (please view our numerous press releases regarding Starlight's performance career on our News & Archives page) In 2008, Starlight was crowned Grand Champion at the Dressage at Devon breed show, after winning the Stallion Championships and Mature Horse Championships, with record high scores. Earlier in the year, Starlight won the open Prix St. Georges in White Fences, FL with a 69.5%, receiving a collective mark of 9 for gaits. Starlight continued his winning ways throughout the summer show circuit, including scores through 70% in Intermediate 1 at some of the most competitive shows in the country. All of this at age eight, while servicing a full book of mares..

  •  ‘Extremely talented and gorgeous’  Charlotte Trentelman (S)

  •  ‘Canter for a 10’ Martin Schaudt (German Olympic Gold Medalist)

  •  ‘Lovely, Powerful horse, Impressive’ Carter Bass (R )

  •  Collective Marks from Prix St. Georges- ‘Paces 9’ Thomas Poulin (S)

In 2007, Starlight was the all-breeds, dressage sport horse breeding 'Horse of the Year', with a median score of 85%. Starlight also received a perpetual trophy, bronze and a place in the USDF hall of fame as the highest scoring horse in the country in 2007! In addition to his breed show honors, Starlight was the year end Res. Champion for the Open Prix St. Georges (GOV).

Breeding/Progeny Record: In 2008, 100% of Starlight’s foals inspected by the German Oldenburg Verband, received a ‘Premium’ status. At multiple inspection sites, Starlight’s offspring were singled out and used as examples of excellence, by the inspectors. Following in their sire’s footsteps, Starlight’s foals have already won classes and championships at sport horse breed shows around the country. Starlight always lends his kind and loving disposition to his offspring, as well as his powerful outline, extremely uphill exterior and award winning movement.
